Every piece from Treeman Studio begins with a fallen or harvested tree. We source locally whenever possible—spalted sweetgum from California; black walnut and cherry from Wisconsin; and ash and elm from our local town, Monterey Park.
The lathe reveals what years of growth have hidden inside. No two pieces are ever alike. That ring pattern, that spalted streak, that curl — it's nature's signature, and we're just the ones who bring it to light.
